As you might already know, Alpine Vista Landscapes gives away 10% of our profits every year to Hopethiopia/Rwanda. This money goes towards sponsoring women coming out of prostitution and pays for their rent, food, training to learn how to sew, health insurance, and school fees for their children.
Covid-19 looks very different in Rwanda as many citizens have lost their jobs and day laborer's are out of work. The ladies that we sponsor in Rwanda have been awarded a contract to make masks giving them purpose and a job in these trying times. Paul hardy, a Calgarian designer designed the masks and the ladies are making them out of some beautiful African fabric.
