24 Street SW Project

Some clients just need help getting the heavy lifting done, but then want to take over the final details to fulfill their dream for thespace. I am more than happy to help in this way. There was a huge area of veryold and falling apart flagstone pavement covering most of the back yard. Theclient had children and wanted a more friendly play space. So we removed alarge piece of the old pavement, relayed a small section of patio with somewalkways, and then installed the sodded area. In the process we removed thebrittle flagstone piece and only re-used the pieces that were in good shape. Wealso repaired large section of flagstone garden wall. The client then took overthe final details of plant placement and mulch bed installation. One detailthat you can’t see in the pictures is that the access to the yard was incrediblylimited which meant we could barely get a wheel barrel in, let alone a machine. We worked with the client to develop a strategy that required minimal removalto keep the cost of the project down.
