This client had done a good job using what they could affordand afford to move to build a staircase along the side of their house foraccess to a basement suite. Unfortunately, the solution was not working for themso we were brought in to replace it with a more robust product. We usedBelgard’s Landing Steps product (charcoal colour), with each weighting 430lbseach, surrounded by a 40mm rundle rock bed (40mm to resist the grade of theslope). While we were onsite we were also asked to replace an old pavement withDimensions 24x24 single unit slabs in Tofino grey (now called Cheswick byBelgard) and install some stepping stones between the products
