The client here had a good spot to enjoy the shade in her backyard on a warm day, but no opportunity to enjoy the sun without dragging furniture all over the lawn. We came up with a design that used the slope to create a beautiful patio where the furniture can remain and the sun enjoyed. The products we used for the wall and steps was Allan Block standard blocks in charcoal and the patio is made from Dimensions 12 by Expocrete (70% in Tofino Grey and 30% in Charcoal).
